Lucy Paterson
I offer Process Work to individuals, couples and groups. I facilitate you in your personal and professional development. I work in person in Norfolk and Suffolk and online anywhere.
I live and work in East Anglia as a Well-being Practitioner, group facilitator and a trainee Processwork Psychotherapist. My own journey has shown me the value of Process Work in supporting personal challenges. It shows the joy and surprises that come from exploring difficulties with a sense of curiosity and compassion.
My approach is empathetic, non-judgemental and relational. I support people to find life patterns and meaning and to unlock creativity..
I have a background in conservation, art & design. I welcome my skills and passion for the environment, art, poetry and storytelling and humour into my therapy practice. I see great potential in utilising them for healing and growth.
I am Trauma informed and have a lived understanding of the challenges and marginalisation that comes with neurodiversity. As an adoptive parent I have experienced many challenges that parenting children with complex needs brings.
I actively support anti-racism and anti-discrimination, bringing systemic awareness to these central issues into my practise.
I love Process Work for its creative, broad and lively way it supports deep exploration of the unknown parts of ourselves and the world: Following feedback, bringing awareness and curiosity to experiences. Finding deep wisdom in disturbances, dreams and body symptoms.
