Hello! I’m El, a UKCP registered psychotherapist. 

 I am available for long and short term therapy; both in person (Cardiff) and online; to adults: individuals and people in relationships. 

 I offer a welcoming and confidential space for you to explore whatever is happening in your life and support you to face difficult circumstances, challenges and transitions. Sessions are tailor made to suit your personal circumstances. 

 Working through difficult experiences can be a deeply healing journey which allows us to become more ourselves and find life more satisfying. I work collaboratively to find out what best supports you, to develop inner and outer resources – so that you can work through difficulties and flourish in your life.

It’s often the difficulties that bring me to therapy and Processwork, yet it’s the explorations and surprises along the way, discovering how this changes me and my relationships in the world, that keeps me engaged.

 I have a long standing interest in ecology and human impact and belonging in the world. As a musician, I have recorded the sound of gas pipelines and played violin with gorillas. I’m passionate about community and creativity and have supported people to go walking, create celebrations, write books, make art and dance.

 I like being outside: scrambling in the wilds, swimming in the sea and walking with my dog. 

 As a white, middle class, queer person, I am actively working to make my practice inclusive of our differences.
