Gill Emslie
My name is Gill Emslie and I am a process-orientated facilitator and community builder, working internationally as an organizational consultant, facilitator, coach and trainer focusing on issues such as leadership, peace building and conflict facilitation.
I am passionate about life and addressing the ongoing need for social change, empowerment, confidence building, self-determination and dignity for all. To heal the wounds and the unhelpful collective belief systems that continue to marginalize our full potential; cause us to question our self worth and damage our relationships with each other across all scales.
I teach in diverse settings ranging from the NGO and social and environmental justice sector, to business and local government, in Europe, Latin America and SE Asia, facilitating in-depth training programmes and working directly with leadership teams. When I am not travelling I live in the Findhorn Foundation ecovillage in Scotland, which is a community and NGO providing training on issues of global concern related to sustainability, environment, peace, shelter and the creation of a sustainable world.
I spent several years living and working with earth based peoples in remote regions of the Earth and this has awoken in me a particular love for the beauty of nature in all its facets, the need for bio-cultural diversity and concern about our current predicament.
