World work in Greece is full – since three or four weeks. In fact, WorldWork April 2017 in Porto Heli/Greece is overfull. That’s more than five hundred participants from more than 40 countries. Congratulations to you all in Greece, the original crew believing in it 2 years ago and getting the work done; and a huge appreciation and celebration of you all, the team that came together with their facilitation and leadership – to make it happen!! You, the WorldWork crew, got us travelling from far and near to join you in our shared focus on what’s our potential contribution to make a difference in this world!!!!
You must be looking forward to the many participants coming from so many different countries to learn, contribute, experience, experiment with the WorldWork concepts developed over the last fourty some years by Arny and Amy Mindell.
A quick caution: Since four weeks, there’s an overflow of registration – so if you read this , DO NOT think about coming anyhow. There is no space!
Arlene and I are preparing to fly with Arlene to Athens this coming week; I’m tonight testing the tech for the ‘translation islands’. They’re functioning, hurrah! I was sure they would, but i prefer knowing they do than outguessing myself. The ‘translation islands’ is an idea of Mark O’Connell he initiated at the London WW 2008. Participants told us later how it helped them a lot to hear someone translate what is going on; in their words, processes often move very swiftly and if one cant understand exactly why, the unfolding does not quite make sense; and it also helps a lot to have a translator at the ready to help a participant to get in there, intervene and contribute to the process unfolding.
