The Body, Psychotherapy and The World

A one year course of six x 3 day modules

Module 3 : The Body In Relationship

17 – 19 January 2020

PROCESSWORK’S CONTRIBUTION TO EMBODIED AWARENESS.

Our symptoms and illnesses don’t just exist in isolation within our bodies but are part of the social and cultural field in which we live. Grappling with the collective as well as individual dynamics of health and wellbeing, is needed for the welfare of the whole.

The world is in us, as much as we are in the world. Our symptoms and illnesses are our bodies and the world dreaming – they can not only tell us about the struggles and power dynamics in our society; they also contain the keys to living our deepest truth and purpose as co-creators in this world.

In this course we will use awareness skills and practices relevant for our personal and professional lives. Facilitators of groups and organisations will find ways of welcoming personal feelings and experiences that make the collective work more effective. Therapists, counsellors and coaches will find ways to engage with the collective dimensions of individual client issues.

And everyone will explore inner awareness practices which combine everyday reality, the creative fluidity of dreams and dream-like body experiences, and insights that have a deeper essence quality connecting us with the larger universe.
